Read MoreWe certainly are living through interesting times. As I’m sitting inside, feeling lucky to spend my self-isolation in Victoria’s most beautiful region, I’m reminded of my favourite saying. As the story goes, many years ago, a Persian king asked a group of sages and wise men to create a phrase which would be applicable to all imaginable situations. In short, after many failed attempts, they finally succeeded in producing a phrase which satisfied the king: “This too, shall pass”.

We've had such a wonderful response to the new team's first edition of Lost and this month we're going full steam ahead as we increase Lost to 64 pages - all chockablock full of reasons to get out and about and experience all our beautiful region has to offer.
Read MoreAs we hurtle at break-neck speed toward Winter, there is still no sign of any real rain or even a dramatic cooling of temperature. The hottest, driest Summer on record is still wreaking havoc for our farmers and gardeners although the brilliant Autumnal colours showering streets in reds and golds seem quite oblivious to this unusually mild weather. Here's hoping the rains come soon before the frosts arrive.

We are hitting the streets a little late this month but thanks to the efforts of the incredible CFA superheroes, a timeline hiccup was the only outcome of the Hepburn Springs fires for us here at Lost Headquarters. Our office is in Hepburn Springs and backs onto the gully where the fires were so we were a little tense over the weekend whilst some of the dramatic photos being posted on social media made it look like an inferno. But thankfully that wasn't the case.
